We support more than 300 people with learning disabilities and additional support needs, including autism, across the North-east of Scotland

Commissioners

Inspire has extensive experience of supporting people with complex support needs and have in-depth knowledge of delivering tailored-support to people with autistic spectrum disorders. Our staff are well trained and supported to carry out their duties according to nationally accredited training programmes and social care regulation.

Our current Care Inspectorate grades reflect the excellent level of support we provide for local people, particularly In those services where Inspire supports people with significant multiple disabilities/challenging behaviours.

The people we support are at the heart of all we do and this influences our approach to our work with commissioners. We are experienced and skilled at developing new services and also transferring services from other service providers, which we have been regularly asked to consider over the past few years.

Through our 30 years’ of experience we have established strong relationships with care managers, wider health teams and housing associations – allowing us to deliver services that meet the needs of the individuals as well as everyone involved in their support.

We support people in a variety of settings including:

  • Accommodation based support services
  • Visiting support services
  • Day services
  • Respite care services
  • Social Support Groups
  • Training for employment initiatives
