Inspire's Day Services currently operate from bases in the Aberdeenshire locations of Huntly, Inverurie and Stonehaven. Whether it's getting out and about in the local community, or expanding employability skills in-house, we strive to deliver an exciting and tailored day service that puts the people we support first.

Some people attend Day Services most days, taking advantage of the wide variety of activities available across multiple sites, whilst others attend once or twice a week for specific interests, or to meet with friends.

Charity Shop & Workshop

Inspire...By is our innovative enterprise, combining an employability focused daily support service with the fundraising potential of a charity shop.

With the central focus remaining the people we support, Inspire...By is a departure from the traditional model of Day Service provision within community social care. The enterprise supports people to develop employability skills as the people we support operate the till, sort stock, tidy the shop-front and produce handcrafted, bespoke gifts to be sold.

The enterprise provides daily support to local people with learning disabilities and additional support needs whilst also empowering life choices by fostering employability skills, with the ultimate aim of further community integration by acting as a hub for people to meet-up and access other groups and facilities in the local area.
