St James' Court Summerhouse Fundraiser

St James' Court Summerhouse Fundraiser

We are delighted to have launched a fantastic fundraiser this week, with support from The Rotary Club of Inverurie, towards the purchase of a garden summerhouse for the people we support at our St. James's Court service, in Inverurie.

Funds will be raised through the sale of crocus corms - 4,000 of which have been kindly donated to Inspire by The Rotary Club of Inverurie. The hope is to receive money through £1 pledges per corm to raise funds for the summerhouse. Those who donate can either receive a crocus corm to plant in their own garden, or can choose to donate a crocus corm to be planted in the garden at St James Court itself. When they flower in the spring the Crocuses will be a wonderful purple colour, matching Inspire's official colour.

The hope is that the summerhouse will be used for activities for those who live at St. James' Court, such as arts and crafts, parties, and afternoon teas and will provide additional space for people to get a change of scenery from their individual flats and aid their mental health and well-being.

If anyone would like to purchase some Corms for a garden at one of our services, or indeed for their own home, or would like to request a pledge sheet to collect donations from family and friends then please contact Laura Purves at St. James' Court on laura.purves@inspiremail.org.uk
