Inspire has launched a major recruitment campaign in Angus to support the development of a new service in the area.
We have been been delivering services to local adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs, including autism, in Angus for the past three years.
The organisation’s headquarters in the local area is within the Angus Third Sector Centre at The Cross, in Forfar, from where they currently provide support for local people, enabling them to access their local communities and facilities, accompany them on outings such as to the shops or to attend social events, and provide assistance with household tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
Inspire, which also operates in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray, will eventually support four people in a new housing support service in the centre of Forfar and require up to 15 new support workers to ensure service delivery.
Whilst previous experience in social care is desirable it is not a requirement, as comprehensive induction training and ongoing support is provided to all staff.
"We know that the events of the last twelve months have caused many people to re-evaluate their working life and may now be considering that it might just be the perfect time for them to make the move into social care."Linda Gray, Inspire CEO
“We can offer considerable flexibility in terms of working patterns, a salary above the Scottish Living Wage, real potential for personal development and career progression and a role that is extremely rewarding.”
