WOW! Despite some bad weather at the start of the month, the people we support at Inspire have certainly had another action packed month during March.
At Inverurie, Scott and Kev enjoyed a supper club night, Andrew and Gavin enjoyed the wrestling show, Scott enjoyed a walk at Aberdeen beach, and Fraser, Joyce and Emma enjoyed a trip to Union Terrace Gardens in Aberdeen.
There was an Oscars themed night in Inverurie as well as three birthdays this month. Happy Birthday to Andrew, Angela and Scott. There was also a wig off contest in Inverurie.
Andrew was the envy of all his pals when he travelled to the rugby match in Edinburgh to be a flag bearer and get to see behind the scenes and meet some of the players. Tattie started getting planted in the garden
Our Aberdeen, Elgin and Huntly supper clubs had a great turn out during March and everyone enjoyed yummy meals.
The Inspire monthly walking group joined students from RGU who had organised a sponsored walk as part of their fundraising for the Big Event from our head office on the Boulevard to the RGU campus and back.
Our Chin WAGs group has also had a busy March baking, making Mother’s Day cards, line dancing, visiting Absafe to learn about safety around the house, and solving clues in our murder mystery activity.
Bob’s Buddies came to visit us and everyone had a great time getting to meet and hold the owls and learn lots of interesting facts about owls. Some of the people we support also enjoyed a very relaxing pampering and meditation activity.
