Local Area Co-ordination (LAC)

Local Area Coordination (LAC) Aberdeen is operated by Inspire on behalf of the Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership. This service is free for people with learning disabilities who are over the age of 16 and live in Aberdeen City.

The service is operated by LAC to help people build an independent life by introducing them to social and leisure activities, voluntary work and training opportunities as well as providing travel and road safety training.

The service also works with groups and organisations to help them become more welcoming and inclusive for people with learning disabilities so that people can increase participation in all aspects of community life.
